RESPONSIBILITIES

UX / UI Design

UX / UI Design

As a UX designer for Carver Edison, a cutting-edge fintech company in NY, I reshaped how employees and executives interact with stock purchase plans. I drove the design of the Cashless Participation platform, transforming complex financial data into an accessible, sleek, and intuitive interface. Working closely with the CEO and development teams, we delivered a modern, user-friendly platform with seamless functionality. I tailored user journeys and onboarding experiences to cater to a broad spectrum of users, ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience for everyone involved.

My Design Process

This is the design process I followed for the Carver Edison Cashless Participation project.

1. Empathize & Understand

In-depth conversations with company founders, product, and engineering team members. Interviews with existing users. Creation of user personas.

2. Ideate &
Define

Idea brainstorming, sketching. Creation of information architecture, user journeys, and low fidelity wireframes. Gathering consensus.

3. Design & Prototype

Creation of Mid & High-Fidelity Wireframes. Enhance brand identity. Create component library & design system. Create final prototype of all screens for development.

4. Feedback & Iteration

Collaboration with developers. Conduct usability testing. Feedback incorporation. Continuous iteration.

Problems to solve...

How might we modernize and democratize the Employee Stock Purchase Plan to make ownership accessible and appealing to employees globally?

How might we create an efficient and compliant system that simplifies the integration of cashless participation with existing company infrastructure, while catering to complex workforces?

How might we make the complex data and processes related to cashless stock ownership easily understandable and manageable for both corporate administrators and regular users?

Early user flows, information architecture, and low fidelity wireframes of the Cashless Participation Dashboard and Onboarding Flows:

Tangible Results:

Simplified Onboarding: My redesigned user interface streamlined the process for companies to set up their plan administrator, making it easier to get started with the Cashless Participation program.

Improved User Experience: The redesigned interface led to a 60% increase in user satisfaction, as indicated by user surveys.

Efficient Data Management: Users experienced an improvement in their ability to manage participant activity, access corporate financial data, and manage enrollments in Cashless Participation due to the clear and succinct dashboard design.

Boosted Participation Rates: The ease of use of the platform resulted in a 139% increase in the number of employees participating in employee stock purchasing plans.

Expanded Client Base: The simplified onboarding process and intuitive user interface led to a 20% increase in new corporate sign-ups, highlighting the platform’s appeal for companies looking to implement inclusive stock ownership programs.
